Human Crystalline Lens in the eye focuses light on the retina. Opacities of the lens are called cataract. They may be present at birth or occur due to injury but the most common variety is related to age (Senile Cataract). This is the most common cause of visual disability in the aged population.

Series 20,000 Legacy Phacoemulsifier is a state of art surgical machine for anterior segment surgery of eye. It's a fully programmable, microprocessor-controlled system with advanced fluidics, which gives quick, smooth control during cataract surgery even with high vacuum settings this increases efficiency and safety. It has several modalities of ultrasonic power control including continious, pulsed and "burst" application of ultrasonic power as well as automatic power reduction during low flow conditions."Neosonix" hand piece combines features of a phaco hand piece with mechanical oscillations. The system has got flat screen, active matrix color LCD display with touch, tiltable & rotatable screen.
