Gomabai Netralaya has
a campus area of 9037 sq.mts
with double storied hospital building with a total built up area of
2266 sq.mts. Ground floor is utilised for OPD purpose. Apart from OPD an Optical
shop, medical shop, Administrative offices, laboratory, counselor office and
Operation Theatre is also on ground floor. Neatly maintained spacious canteen is also there on
ground floor just adjacent to Netralaya building.
Well equipped Eye Bank, recognised by
All India Eye Bank
Association is also functioning on ground floor.
Three operation
theater of international standard are also situated on ground floor equipped with all necessary equipments including Leica,
Takagi & Carl Zeiss Visu-210 operating microscopes. Out of three one theatre is kept reserved
for charity patients.
Facilities for following surgeries are there in the Netralaya

i) Routine Cataract extraction and lens implantation surgery.
ii) Cataract surgery by Phaco Emulsification method through Alcon - Universal II machine.
iii) Implantation of best known foldable lenses - Centerflex from Rayner and
Acrysof from Alcon (with cataract surgery).
iv) Complicated retina surgeries through world's top rated "Accurus"
machine from Alcon.
v) Laser photocoagulation for diabetic Retinopathy through GREEN
Laser Machine from Carl Zeiss.
vi) Penetrating Keratoplasty surgery.
vii) Other eye surgeries viz-Glaucoma, Squint, Chalazion,
Lid Tear Repair, Corneal Tear Repair, Pterygium etc.

Membrane Grafting Surgery.

Surgeries.
First floor of Netralaya building is utilized as ward with
total 64 bed capacity, General ward (42), private ward (14),
Infected ward (6) and VIP ward (2). Wards can be approached through staircase or lift.
Utmost care is taken to maintain Netralaya building/campus neat &
clean. Netralaya building is surrounded by very well maintained garden and lawn to ensure pollution
free atmosphere.
Sufficient Flats, with all amenities are
there within campus to
accommodate all doctors, Senior administration staff and for some of the paramedical staff to ensure quick & efficient
attention to the patients. And last but not the least we have a team of highly qualified fellowship trained surgeons including a VR
(Vitreo Retinal) and two Corneal surgeons who are always ready to serve.
